Pilot Started in Nairobi

CIS’s energy project is again, bringing in new energy as well as opportunities to schools in Nairobi!

This month, we offered service to a school which has no electricity, as it has been cut off for few months. Through renting our system, school staff could work on the laptop for classwork, and the light could be switched on to extend school’s operation hours.

Last week, our staff was invited to address class 8 students and parents on the importance of CIS’s solar energy system, and to clarify the quires of most Kenyans towards solar energy. Solar energy is not high-tech, is more reliable than unstable grid line supply in Kenya, and is more affordable than kerosene / grid.
